Over half of Pakistanis (52%) will watch Bol channel if it is launched.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 52% Pakistanis said that they will watch Bol channel if it is launched, 46% said they will not watch it if launched.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “Suppose that if Bol channel is launched, will you watch Bol channel or not?” In response to this question, 52% respondents said that they will watch Bol channel if it is launched, 46% said they will not watch it if launched and 2% did not respond.

Question: “Suppose that if Bol channel is launched, will you watch Bol channel or not?”

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1827 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during May 24- May 30, 2015. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
