19% Pakistanis make special arrangements for breakfast on a holiday.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 80% Pakistanis said regular or everyday breakfast is prepared in their household on holidays; 19% order special breakfast from market.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “Many households prepare special breakfast on a holiday. Please tell us which type of breakfast is prepared in your household on a holiday, the usual breakfast is made or is special breakfast ordered from outside/ market?” In response to this question, 80% respondents said regular or everyday breakfast is prepared in their households on holidays. On the other hand, 19% respondents said that in their household special breakfast is ordered from outside on holidays, and 1% did not respond.  

Question: “Many households prepare special breakfast on a holiday. Please tell us which type of breakfast is prepared in your household on a holiday, the usual breakfast is made or is special breakfast ordered from outside/ market?”

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1691 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during April 06- April 13, 2015. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
