Overwhelming majority of Pakistanis think that their mobile device is important in accomplishing their daily tasks.

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 93% Pakistanis said that their mobile device is important in accomplishing their daily tasks; 6% said it was unimportant.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “How important is your mobile device to you in accomplishing your daily tasks?” In response to this question, 28% respondents said that their mobile device is critical in accomplishing their daily tasks, 40% said that it is very important, 25% said it is somewhat important, 4% said it is somewhat unimportant, while 2% said it is unimportant and 1% did not respond. 

Question: “How important is your mobile device to you in accomplishing your daily tasks?”

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1306 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during February 16 - February 23, 2015. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
