66% Pakistanis say most people in their neighborhood get their children immunized. GILANI POLL/GALLUP PAKISTAN

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 66% Pakistanis say most people in their neighborhood get their children immunized.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked “In your opinion, how many people in your community get their children immunized?” Responding to this, 66% said almost all people get their children immunized compared to 21% who said some people don’t get their children immunized and 8% who replied most people don’t immunize their children. 5% did not respond.

The study was released by Gilani Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2609 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during Mar 31, 2014 – Apr 07, 2014. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
