36% Pakistanis say they have read or heard about the “Sindh Festival”. GILANI POLL/GALLUP PAKISTAN

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 36% Pakistanis say they have read or heard about the “Sindh Festival”.  This adds up to about 30 million adult men and women across Pakistan.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked “Please tell us nowadays there are advertisements with Bilawal Bhutto on the topic of “Sindh Festival”. Have you had the chance to read or listen to anything about it?” Responding to this, 36% said yes and 64% said no.



Question: “Please tell us nowadays there are advertisements with Bilawal Bhutto on the topic of “Sindh Festival”. Have you had the chance to read or listen to anything about it?”

The study was released by Gilani Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2605 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during Feb 03, 2014 – Feb 10, 2014. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
