According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 17% Pakistanis think corruption is the worst thing about Pakistan; 13% think the same of terrorism.
A nationally representative sample of men and women, from across the four provinces was asked “What do you dislike most about Pakistan?” Responding to this, 17% said corruption, 13% said terrorism, 8% said inflation and 7% said unemployment. 8% named load shedding and 7% said it was politics. 20% of the respondents said there was nothing they disliked about Pakistan and 12% named others. 8% did not respond.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2655 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during Sep 09, 2013 – Sep 16, 2013. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
