44% Pakistanis believe that the current education system in Pakistan successfully caters to the needs of youth. GILANI POLL/GALLUP PAKISTAN

Islamabad, Sept 18, 2013

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 44% Pakistanis believe that the current education system in Pakistan successfully caters to the needs of youth.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Some people think the current education system in the country successfully caters to the particular needs of our youth whereas others think it is inadequate. What is your opinion?” Responding to this, 44% Pakistanis said that the current system successfully caters to youth needs, 42% said that it does not and 14% did not respond.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2533 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during July 30, 2013 – August 5, 2013. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.

  1. Its interesting finding, though. It will increase the value if covers the factors that forces the respondents to go in favor or against the existing educational system in Pakistan.
