Islamabad, Jun 17, 2013

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, majority of Pakistanis (61%) think people should dye their hair when it starts turning white.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Often when people’s hair starts turning white, they start dying their hair, while some people let their hair stay white. In your opinion, should people use hair dye or let their hair stay white?” Responding to this, 61% said people should use hair dye and 39% said they should let their hair stay white.

More urban respondents think people should dye (68%) compared with rural respondents (57%). Interestingly, there was not much of a difference between women (62%) who think people should dye their hair and men (60%).
