Only 5% of Pakistanis (who have a park near their house) say they go to a park every day. GILANI POLL/GALLUP PAKISTAN

Islamabad, April 10, 2013

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, only 5% of Pakistanis (who have a park near their house) say they go to a park every day.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “If there is a park near your house, how often do you go there?” Responding to this, 33% said rarely, 23% said once a month, 15% said once a week, 12% said twice or thrice a week, 11% said they don’t go at all and 5% said every day. However, 1% did not give a response. This question was only asked from respondents who said there is a park near their house.

Question: “If there is a park near your house, how often do you go there?”
