Majority (68%) Pakistani Households claim to suffer from Flu and Fever in December. GILANI POLL/GALLUP PAKISTAN

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, majority (68%) Pakistani households claim to suffer from flu and fever in December.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Has anyone from your house got flu and fever in the last one month?” Responding to this, 68% claim that someone in their house caught flu and fever in the last one month whereas 31% said no. However 1% did not give a view.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of  Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2639 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during December 18, 2012 – December 24, 2012. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 percent at 95% confidence level.
