Inflation remains on top as the most important National Problem. GILANI POLL/GALLUP PAKISTAN

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, Inflation remains on top as the most important National Problem.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “In your opinion, what is the current biggest problem of Pakistan?” Responding to this, 47% believe that inflation is the biggest problem, 24% believe it to be terrorism, 18% think unemployment is the biggest problem, 6% foreign threats, 2% cite others and 1% said Kashmir. However, 2% did not give a view.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2642 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during January 06, 2013 – January 11, 2013. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 percent at 95% confidence level.
