53% of Pakistanis prefer daylight over nighttime. GILANI POLL/GALLUP PAKISTAN

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 53% of Pakistanis prefer daylight over nighttime.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Some people prefer daylight, some people prefer the nighttime and some people prefer both. Which do you prefer more?” Responding to this, 53% said they prefer ‘daylight’, 32% said they prefer ‘both’ and 15% said they prefer ‘nighttime’.

The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2589 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during November 05, 2012 – November 11, 2012. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
