54% of Pakistanis think they deserve better treatment in life. GILANI POLL/GALLUP PAKISTAN

Islamabad, November 28, 2012

According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 54% of Pakistanis think they deserve better treatment in life.

A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Do you think you are treated fairly in life or do you deserve better?” Responding to this, 54% believe they deserve to be treated better and 32% believe they are treated fairly. However, 14% did not give a response.

The same question was also asked in 2009 when the results were largely similar; 59% said they deserve to be treated better and 27% said they are treated fairly and 14% did not give a response.

Question: “Do you think you are treated fairly in life or do you deserve better?”
